Abstract
This book provides a thorough overview of the radiologic and pathologic findings of neoplastic diseases of the biliary tract, a sound knowledge of which is essential for appropriate patient management. A key feature is the correlation of imaging findings with both gross pathologic and histopathologic findings for each disease. This is of the utmost importance in understanding true pathologic abnormalities, bearing in mind, for example, the difficulty in ascertaining disease spread and extent on the basis of pathology alone. Since the first edition of the book, conceptual understanding of neoplastic disease of the bile ducts and cholangiocarcinogenesis has evolved significantly, and in the new edition the classification of diseases is based on the most recent edition of the WHO Classification of Tumors of the Digestive System. In addition, some newly recognized pathologies are covered. The book will enhance understanding of the pathology of neoplastic diseases of the biliary tract and aid imaging interpretation. It will be a great asset for pathologists, radiologists, biliary surgeons, and gastroenterologists.

Abstract
This book presents a new, multi- and interdisciplinary approach to gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Barrett’s esophagus that reflects the latest advances in understanding of the disease. The role of each of the available diagnostic techniques, including endoscopy, histopathology, esophageal manometry, reflux monitoring, and EndoFLIP assessment, is carefully explained. The use of endoscopy for the purposes of mucosal ablation (radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation) and mucosal resection is described, and all aspects of anti-reflux surgery are covered, with detailed explanation of indications and techniques for standard fundoplication, endoscopic fundoplication, and surgical procedures using the LINX system and the EndoStim device. To assist the reader further, a novel interdisciplinary algorithm is presented for GERD diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches (including endoscopic and surgical resection and chemoradiation) are also presented for esophageal cancer and cancer palliation. A key feature of the book is its recognition of the contribution of different specialties in the management of GERD, and it will accordingly appeal to a wide range of practitioners.

Abstract
This book presents the core principles and technical aspects of Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI), as well as pearls and pitfalls concerning the imaging technique’s application to the hepatobiliary system. All technical aspects and clinical applications discussed focus on the related anatomical region and its pathologies. Given that magnetic resonance physics is complex and can be cumbersome to learn, the volume editors and authors have made it as simple and practical as possible. Accordingly, tables related to technical details (imaging protocols, artefacts, and optimization techniques) are provided for each chapter. Though DWI is frequently used in the abdomen and pelvis, its clinical role is still evolving, especially for the diagnostic workup of oncologic patients. Although certain efforts have been undertaken to standardize and provide imaging guidelines for different clinical indications, the standardisation and clinical validation of quantitative DWI-related biomarkers are still works in progress.  Addressing this gap, the book offers a useful tool for radiologists with a particular interest in abdominal radiology, as well as for radiology residents.

Abstract
Endoscopy in Early Gastrointestinal Cancers, Volume 1: Diagnosis provides detailed information of the technique of novel endoscopic diagnostic tools including magnifying endoscopy, narrow band imaging system (NBI), autofluorescence endoscopy (AFI), endocytoscopy, FICE and confocal endomicroscopy.  Carcinoma of the gastrointestinal tract remained a major health issue worldwide, which is, however notoriously difficult to treat. One of the major reasons for such a poor result is that these cancers are diagnosed at advanced stage. There is a recent increase in the number of gastrointestinal cancers diagnosed at early stage. This is attributed to an increasing recognition of these early stage cancers through a recent development in the technology of endoscopy. This book on the endoscopic diagnosis of early GI neoplasia, containing lots of illustrations, artwork and numerous short video clips, serves as a bridge between the recent development in endoscopy and the knowledge of gastroenterologist, endoscopist and surgeons.

Abstract
Endoscopy in Early Gastrointestinal Cancers, Volume 2: Treatment covers the detailed information of the indications, techniques and perioperative management of endoscopic resection including endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). Carcinoma of the gastrointestinal tract remained a major health issue worldwide, which is, however notoriously difficult to treat. Endoscopic resection for early neoplasia of the gastrointestinal tract had been developed for more than 25 years. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a recently developed technique pioneer by Japanese endoscopists. The principle of ESD is to achieve a complete resection of gastrointestinal neoplasia limited to mucosa with adequate circumferential margins. This novel endoscopic technique not only allows the achievement of en-bloc resection for early GI cancers, it also conveys a significantly lower rate of local recurrence as compared to EMR for early gastric cancers. There is an urge for the knowledge in applying these novel technologies for the treatment of early GI neoplasia worldwide. This book on the endoscopic treatment of early GI neoplasia, containing lots of illustrations, artwork and numerous short video clips, serves as a bridge between the recent development in endoscopy and the knowledge of gastroenterologist, endoscopist and surgeons.

Abstract
This book offers a self-contained review of the theoretical and practical basis of colorectal cancer screening. Colorectal cancer is currently the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide and represents a significant burden for both public health and health care systems. However, colorectal cancer deaths can be prevented using effective screening, and many countries and regions have launched population colorectal cancer screening programs. This book covers various essential aspects of colorectal cancer screening, including the epidemiology of colorectal cancer, the various screening and diagnostic tests or exams, quality issues in colorectal cancer screening, necessary infrastructures, the evaluation of effectiveness, and economic appraisals of screening programs. Focusing on organized screening, in which various quality indicators can easily monitored and effectiveness is more likely to be evaluated, it discusses the basics of screening theory and the natural history of colorectal neoplasms, to help readers understand the rationale behind cancer screening. Lastly, it features international consensus and guidelines on colorectal cancer screening to highlight the current trends in the field. This comprehensive book on recent technological developments and conceptual advances in colorectal cancer screening is a valuable resource for public health workers and clinicians alike.

Abstract
This book covers interventional treatments (minimally invasive therapies) for the management of various hepato-biliary disorders and the complications arising due to liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension. Given that interventional radiology and hepato-biliary interventions are comparatively new, very little literature is available on them. This book addresses that gap and offers practitioners and trainees a guide to the management of various hepato-biliary disorders requiring radiological interventions. The content addresses both non-vascular and vascular procedures. The respective chapters cover various procedures, such as image guided diagnostic tissue sampling (FNA and biopsies), guided liver abscess and biliary drainage procedures, liver tumor ablation, intra-arterial and intravenous techniques for the management of vascular diseases of the liver and portal hypertension, variceal bleeds and tumor management. Last but not the least, detailed chapters on interventions for post liver transplant complications are also included. The book is chiefly intended for practicing interventional radiologists, as well as fellows and trainees in interventional radiology courses.

Abstract
This book addresses practical issues that reflect the current landscape of GI pathology practice and is organized in such a way that fits the fast-pacing daily life of practicing pathologists. It contains more than 540 questions that address difficult, prevailing and controversial issues in GI pathology that are frequently encountered in daily practice and consult service. For most questions, answers are straightforward with ample literature support. However, true diagnostic controversies and clinical dilemma cannot be easily resolved with current knowledge and available information. To such challenges, an expert approach regarding how to synthesize complicated topics and clearly communicate the thinking process is valuable to readers and can help guide clinicians making optimal treatment plans for their patients. The latter types of answers are highly enriched throughout the book. Distinct from other existing GI pathology textbooks, this book is primarily organized according to disease entities and pathological processes instead of specific organs and anatomic locations. Guided by chapter titles and listed questions, readers should be able to look up a disease or a pathological feature and find the most important and relevant diagnostic criteria and pertinent differential diagnoses. Written by experts in the field, Practical Gastrointestinal Pathology provides easy and quick access to concise, evidence-based and up-to-date information to aid accurate diagnosis and serves as a useful resource for practicing pathologists, pathology trainees and GI clinicians as well as allied health professionals who frequently deal with GI pathology.
