Abstract
This volume describes a uniform international approach for classifying and reporting salivary gland FNA samples. The new reporting system is evidence-based using data from the literature as well as upon the experience of a multi-disciplinary group of leading experts involved in the field of salivary gland cytopathology. Each diagnostic category of this novel salivary gland reporting system includes detailed descriptions of the cytologic criteria as well as a comprehensive set of photomicrographs demonstrating all of the key microscopic features along with annotated descriptions for each image. Designed as a practical book with easy readability, The Milan System for Reporting Salivary Gland Cytopathology combines the high-quality images of an atlas with a logical approach described in concise text-form and in line-drawing algorithms. It presents for the first time, an international cytologic reporting system for salivary gland lesions designed and endorsed by a panel of experts in the field.
Contents
The Milan System for Reporting Salivary Gland Cytopathology -- Non-Diagnostic -- Non-Neoplastic -- Atypia of Undetermined Significance -- Neoplasm -- Suspicious for Malignancy -- Malignant -- Ancillary Studies for Salivary Gland Cytology -- Clinical Management -- Histologic Considerations and Salivary Gland Tumor Classification in Surgical Pathology.

Abstract
There are more than 63,000 new cases of uterine and endometrial cancer each year in the United States, up from approximately 41,000 when the first edition of Uterine Cancer was published in 2009. A book focusing on these cancers was timely, with emergent sophistication in diagnosis increasingly impacting clinical decision-making. However, five years later, the need for an updated book on this topic is even stronger as oncologists recognize opportunities to impact the outcome on women that are increasingly diagnosed with these malignancies. Uterine Cancer: Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment, Second Edition, part of the Current Clinical Oncology series, enhances the awareness on this somewhat neglected area of therapeutics, helping to integrate targeted therapies into the management of women with uterine cancer. Written by experts in the field in a highly practical and comprehensive manner, it is a must-have for all gynecological residents and fellows, as well as gynecological oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and family practice doctors who wish to provide their patients with the best possible care.

Written by a group of international experts in the field and the result of over ten years of collaboration, it allows students and readers to gain to gain a detailed understanding of scar and wound treatment – a topic still dispersed among various disciplines. The content is divided into three parts for easy reference. The first part focuses on the fundamentals of scar management, including assessment and evaluation procedures, classification, tools for accurate measurement of all scar-related elements (volume density, color, vascularization), descriptions of the different evaluation scales. It also features chapters on the best practices in electronic-file storage for clinical reevaluation and telemedicine procedures for safe remote evaluation. The second section offers a comprehensive review of treatment and evidence-based technologies, presenting a consensus of the various available guidelines (silicone, surgery, chemical injections, mechanical tools for scar stabilization, lasers). The third part evaluates the full range of emerging technologies offered to physicians as alternative or complementary solutions for wound healing (mechanical, chemical, anti-proliferation). Textbook on Scar Management will appeal to trainees, fellows, residents and physicians dealing with scar management in plastic surgery, dermatology, surgery and oncology, as well as to nurses and general practitioners.
Contents
I. Biology and Scar Formation -- II. Epidemiology of Scars and Their Consequences -- III. Hypertrophic and Keloid Scar: Genetics and Proteomic Studies -- IV. International Scar Classifications -- V. Scar Symptoms -- VI. Scar Assessment Scales -- VII. Objective Assessment Technologies (Cutometer, Laser Doppler, 3D Imaging, Stereophotogrammetry) -- VIII. Treatment of Immature Scars: Evidence-Based Considerations -- IX. Minimal-Invasive Technologies for Treatment of HTS and Keloids -- X. Invasive Techniques in Scar Management -- XI.
