Abstract
In this book a team of leading experts come together to provide a comprehensive overview of modern imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, with detailed sections on both gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging. Each chapter has an identical structure and focuses on a particular organ or organ system, allowing the reader to approach the field one topic at a time. Indications for a variety of imaging techniques and examination protocols are clearly described, and the imaging features of normal anatomy and pathologic entities are depicted in an abundance of high-quality images. Care is taken to consider all recent technical developments and new indications, and the diagnostic performance of different imaging modalities is carefully compared. It is anticipated that this book will come to be regarded as the standard work of reference on abdominal and pelvic radiology.

Abstract
Each dermatologist that was board certified after 1992 is required by the American Board of Dermatology to take a recertification exam every ten years. One of the major components of the exam is to be able to identify clinical photographs of approximately 200 skin diseases, and while there are other components to the test, they vary according to subspecialty. However, everyone is required to identify the images, so several months before the exam, the American Board of Dermatology releases a list of the skin diseases that will be tested, but does not provide the images or reveal which ones will appear. Review of Clinical Conditions for the Dermatology Recertification Examination provides a thorough, concise review of clinical images of the specific conditions that the reader will be required to recognize during the American Board of Dermatology recertification test. In addition, concise key clinical features for each image will be provided that will assist the reader in recognizing the clinical images on the examination, enabling them a more efficient way to study for the test without having to look up images online or in a large text book. Written by a board certified dermatologic surgeon who recently took the recertification exam, this book proves indispensable to dermatologists taking the exam or residents who want a quick reference of the clinical appearances of the main conditions generally encountered by a dermatologist.

This book provides the concise descriptions of the basic and clinical knowledge about Acanthamoba keratitis, including characteristics of pathogen, risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment with abundant figure illustrations and typical cases to ophthalmological practitioners and researchers. Acanthamoeba pathogen is widely distributed in the nature. However, Acanthamoeba keratitis is generally considered as a type of sight-threatening keratitis that is difficult to treat. At early stage Acanthamoeba keratitis usually shows atypical clinical manifestations, that are often misdiagnosed as viral or bacterial keratitis. Moreover, there are not approved topical anti-amoebicdrugs available up to now. We hopeáophthalmological practitioners can obtain a comprehensive understanding of this infection through this book. Abstract
This salient volume surveys the state of access to primary care and preventive health services by migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers across Europe. Experts in public health and allied fields identify obstacles to healthcare interventions for migrants, including costs, legal status, health-related behaviors and beliefs, and cultural and language barriers. The book includes the latest data concerning access to specific preventive services (e.g., vaccinations, colorectal screenings), specific issues of women and sexual minorities, and the potential for health promotion in prevention. Best practices for improving access are outlined as a basis for public health and policy directives toward reducing health disparities between migrant and native populations. Among the topics covered: Access to medical examination for prevention among migrants Access and barriers to infant vaccinations, female cancer screening and colorectal screening among migrant populations; Provision and policy gap between the primary and preventive care required by and the care provided to LGBTQ+ migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers; Health related lifestyles and intermediate health conditions of migrants; Quality of primary healthcare and preventive health services provided to migrants; Adaptations of primary health care for migrants; Access to primary health care and policies on migration and health at a time of economic crisis. Dedicated to bridging research and policy gaps in this vital area, Primary Care Access and Preventive Health Services of Migrants is intended for an international audience of academics, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in public health and related disciplines.

Abstract
Neglected finger injuries may lead to chronic lesions that often have detrimental consequences for the practice of a ball sport, whether at a recreational level or at the top athlete level. The initial injury management is crucial. Depending on the type and the severity of the lesions, different people may get involved: the players themselves or their entourage, physiotherapists, club doctors, emergency physicians, family doctors, sports doctors or hand surgeons. Treatment is usually conservative: the long fingers require rapid mobilization to prevent stiffness and contrary to that, the thumb requires stability. Surgery may be necessary to reach these goals especially for athletes, because of the demands of their sport. Chronic lesions are also in part related to repeated trauma, requiring specialized long-term multidisciplinary treatment. They can often lead to the end of a sporting career, but also may limit the functionality of the fingers at the time of conversion. Dr Chick is Consultant Hand Surgeon in Hopital de la Tour (Geneva) and Clinique de Genolier, Switzerland, and Visiting Surgeon in Aspetar, Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, Doha, Qatar.

Abstract
Now in a revised and updated second edition, this practical text on the adolescent athlete provides penetrating insights into musculoskeletal care for growing athletes. Chapters are logically organized by anatomical region and are written by experts in the field, focusing on improved clinical decision-making and addressing both chronic and acute injuries in addition to congenital conditions. Fundamentals, including basic anatomy, physical examination, and patient history, are covered in detail, with emphasis on the recognition of injury patterns unique to adolescent athletes. User-friendly tables are incorporated to assist with diagnosis. Prevention, patient management, and clinical pearls are each outlined, and return-to-play guidelines are highlighted. To further facilitate comprehensive patient care, musculoskeletal diagnostic imaging and principles of rehabilitation are covered as well. Anatomical drawings, photos of examination maneuvers, and diagnostic images, such as x-rays and MRI scans, complete the text by illustrating key concepts. Intended for sports medicine physicians, primary care physicians, orthopedists, physiotherapists and athletic trainers, this second edition of The Adolescent Athlete: A Practical Approach continues to be a sought-after resource for all who aim to improve the musculoskeletal health of active children and adolescents.
