Abstract
Endorsed by the Association of Radiologic and Imaging Nursing (ARIN), this first of a kind comprehensive radiology nursing textbook fills a gap by addressing important subjects for patient care and professional issues, as well as, future possibilities affecting nursing practice. It serves as a resource to related nursing specialties, e.g. critical care, emergency or peri-anesthesia, and to radiologic technologists and physician assistants. The book could be used as one resource for studying for radiologic nursing certification. The textbook is subdivided into five sections that address advanced practice and leadership roles, clinical patient care topics, safety topics, including legal considerations, e.g. infection prevention and equipment. It includes a section with topics impacting the patient experience and a section on professional topics, e.g. cybersecurity, social media, research/outcomes, interprofessional collaboration, workplace violence and current trends in imaging. The authors include advanced practice providers, radiology nurse managers, educators, physicians, a physicist, a dentist, attorneys, a child life specialist, administrators and a social worker. Radiology diagnostic examinations and therapeutic procedures have become a more prominent part of patient care due to advances in technology and the ability of radiology to provide services that were traditionally done in surgery or not done because of limited knowledge. Many procedures are facilitated by the radiology nurse from initial consult to transfer to a hospital unit or discharge and follow-up. Nurses assess, monitor, administer sedation/other medications and respond to emergencies. They serve as educators, researchers, and resource personnel to the radiology department and in many instances, to the entire facility. Radiology nurses are real leaders. In order to keep up-to-date on new developments, nurses need new literature to support their clinical expertise and leadership. This book is an unparalleled resource, written by experts in their areas of interest.

Abstract
This is the first comprehensive two-volume collection on anhedonia, a disorder that played an important role in psychopathology theories at the beginning of the twentieth century. Anhedonia is a condition in which the capacity of pleasure is partially or completely lost, and it refers to both a personality trait, and a 'state symptom' in various neuropsychiatric and physical disorders. It has a putative neural substrate, originating in the dopaminergic mesolimbic and mesocortical reward circuit. Over the past three decades cognitive psychology and behavioral neuroscience have expanded our understanding of anhedonia and other reward-related processes. The aim of this new two-volume collection on anhedonia is to highlight the contributions of eminent scientists in this field as well as to provide readers with comprehensive accounts of recent developments as perceived by the authors. This monograph is divided into five parts. Volume I contains parts one and two (Conceptual Issues and Neurobiological Advances) including 14 chapters that serve as an introduction and overview of conceptual issues. Volume II contains three parts (Anhedonia in Psychotic Disorders, Anhedonia in Mood and Personality Disorders, and Anhedonia in Neurological and Physical Disorders) including 15 chapters that provide an overview of the construct, measurement of anhedonia in schizophrenia spectrum disorders, hedonic capacity and related factors in schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, anhedonia as an indicator of genetic liability for schizophrenia, and as a trait marker for depression, the role of an anhedonia in trauma-related disorders, anorexia nervosa, stress-induced eating disorders, schizotypal traits and risk of suicide. This book will be of interest to a broad spectrum of readers including psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, neuroscientists, endocrinologists, pharmacologists, general practitioners, geriatricians, graduate students, and health care providers in the fields of mental health.
Contents
Part I. Conceptual Issues -- 1. The Different Facets of Anhedonia and Their Associations with Different Psychopathologies -- 2. Understanding Anhedonia: The Role of Perceived Control -- 3. Abstract
This book provides a comprehensive review on the surgical care of patients requiring removal of an eye, as well as consequent functional and cosmetic rehabilitation. In addition to covering the crafting of ocular prosthetics, Anophthalmia: The Expert's Guide to Medical and Surgical Management also addresses the psychological and physical adjustments to losing an eye, and adapting to that loss. Divided into five parts, Anophthalmia functions as a go-to reference for ophthalmologists and oculoplastic surgeons. The book begins by laying out the clinical foundations and history of anophthalmia. Part II and III discuss surgical removal techniques, prosthesis fitting and maintenance, congenital anophthalmia, infections and inflammations, and newer surgical techniques such as osseointegration after orbital exenteration. Finally, the book concludes with chapters on prosthetic options including scleral shells, keratopigmentation procedures, and cosmetic contact lenses. Unique in content, Anophthalmia is a vital resource for practicing ophthalmologists, oculoplastic surgeons, and all medical professionals who care for patients with surgical and traumatic loss of the eye and orbital tissues. Additionally, sufficient detail and explanation make this work accessible to those in training, such as medical students, ophthalmology residents, and fellows.

Abstract
This book introduces classic and unique cases in 3D TEE in structural heart disease interventions. In each all the 40 cases, background information, clinical presentations, and diagnostic findings are present and followed by step-by-step approaches of interventional therapies and outcomes after the procedures. The highlight of the book is to utilize extensive illustrations, over 500, to demonstrate various cardiovascular pathologies. Most of the figures are 3D transesophageal echocardiograms, they are cooperated with 2D transesophageal echocardiograms, X rays, fluoroscopies, computed tomograms, etc. Since the echo images obtained in clinic practice are moving images, it also includes over 300 videos, which serve as a supplement to the static illustrations in this book. The atlas is organized into five chapters. In Chapters one, cases received closure of congenital and acquired cardiac defects are described. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation and its complications are discussed in Chapter two and three. Chapter four details the valve-in-valve therapy. Chapter five covers MitraClip therapy. It offers readers an insider's view of 3D transesophageal echocardiography in structural heart disease interventions and to refresh their clinical work.

Abstract
Sleep Medicine is a field that attracts physicians from a variety of clinical backgrounds. As a result, the majority of sleep specialists who interpret sleep studies (PSG) do not have specialized training in neurophysiology and electroencephalography (EEG) interpretation. Given this and the fact that PSGs usually are run at a third of the speed of EEGs and that they usually have a limited array of electrodes, waveforms frequently appear different on the PSGs compared to the EEGs. This can lead to challenges interpreting certain unusual looking activity that may or may not be pathological. This Atlas of Electroencephalograpy in Sleep Medicine is extensively illustrated and provides an array of examples of normal waveforms commonly seen on PSG, in addition to normal variants, epileptiform and non-epileptiform abnormalities and common artifacts. This resource is divided into five main sections with a range of topics and chapters per section. The sections cover Normal Sleep Stages; Normal Variants; Epileptiform Abnormalities; Non-epileptiform Abnormalities; and Artifacts. Each example includes a brief description of each EEG together with its clinical significance, if any. Setting the booká apart from others in the field is the following feature: Each EEG discussed consists of at least three views of the same page -- one at a full EEG montage with 30mm/sec paper speed, the same montage at 10mm/sec (PSG speed) and a third showing the same thing at 10 mm/sec, but with the abbreviated PSG montage. Unique and the first resource of its kind in sleep medicine, the Atlas of Electroencephalograpy in Sleep Medicine will greatly assist those physicians and sleep specialists who read PSGs to identify common and unusual waveforms on EEG as they may appear during a sleep study and serve as a reference for them in that capacity.

Abstract
This Atlas is the first reference Atlas covering exclusively all aspects of this multifaceted topic. It is designed to serve as a succinct appropriate resource for neurosurgeons, spinal surgeons, radiologists, neurologists, microbiologists, researchers and infectious disease specialists with an interest in cranio-cerebral and vertebro-medullary infections especially encountered in neurosurgery and spinal surgery. This Atlas is designed to deliver more information in less space than traditional texts, allowing for quick review of the essential facts of this complex infectious topic through pictures. Pertinent imaging and laboratory information are combined with intraoperative photographs and illustrations to help readers visualize variable presentations and enhance their perioperative management. The comprehensive content of this richly-illustrated book covers different infectious diseases seen on neurosurgical and spinal practices. The Atlas is divided into five sections, after a general introduction, the second section focuses on infections of the brain and its coverings. The third section focuses on vertebromedullary infections. The fourth section includes infections following cranial and spinal surgery, and the fifth section provides a description of the most important specific pathogens and other particular conditions. The format makes it easily accessible and includes a definition of each infection and its epidemiology, main clinical presentations, imaging features and laboratory findings, treatment options, and prognosis information. It will help the reader in choosing the most appropriate way to manage this multipart problem. In addition, the book supplies clinicians and investigators with both basic and more sophisticated information and procedures relating to the complications associated with neurosurgical and spinal infections.

Abstract
To date, diet programs and medical therapies for the treatment of obesity have had limited success. Bariatric surgery, however, provides a means of effective weight loss for many of those with morbid obesity. Most of these weight loss procedures are performed with a variety of techniques that continue to evolve. Each technique is associated with unique challenges and complications and it is important for the clinician to be knowledgeable about the endoscopic management of these patients. Additionally, as endoscopic technology evolves it may offer more than just the diagnosis and treatment of complications. Endoscopic therapy may soon allow less invasive bariatric revision procedures as well as a variety of primary obesity therapies for various patient populations. Bariatric Endoscopy reviews the management of obesity, normal post-surgical anatomy, endoscopic and medical management of post-surgical complications, and future endoscopic therapies for obesity management. Organized into five sections, the volume covers an obesity overview, traditional therapy, endoscopy and the bariatric patient, medical management of post-surgical complications, and the future role of endoscopy in obesity management. Detailed illustrations are also provided for surgical procedures, complications and obesity management chapters. Authored by authorities in the field, Bariatric Endoscopy is an indispensible tool for the gastroenterologist or surgical endoscopist as they care for patients with complicated bariatric issues.
