Abstract
This astute volume brings together the latest expert research on adamantinomatous craniopharyngiomas (ACPs). ACPs are histologically benign but clinically aggressive tumors exhibiting a high propensity for local invasion into the hypothalamus, optic and vascular structures. These tumors, as well as the current treatments, may result in pan-hypopituitarism, diabetes insipidus, morbid obesity followed by type II diabetes mellitus, blindness, as well as serious behavioral and psychosocial impairments. Exploring in detail advances in both the understanding of tumor biology as well as clinical advances in patient management are explored in detail, this book will also look towards potential new treatment approaches. Basic Research and Clinical Aspects of Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma is the first book compiling all current research on ACPs. Mouse and human studies have unequivocally demonstrated that mutations in CTNNB1 encoding -catenin underlie the etiology of the majority, if not all ACP tumors. Genetic studies in mice have shown that ACPs are tumors of the pituitary gland and not of the hypothalamus as previously thought, and are derived from RathkeÇÖs pouch precursors. In addition, a role for tissue-specific adult pituitary stem cells has been revealed as causative of ACP. Together, these studies have provided novel insights into the molecular and cellular etiology as well as the pathogenesis of human ACP. Finally, this volume covers new treatment approaches that have been shown to be effective both in reducing ACP burden as well as reducing the morbidity associated with therapy.
Contents
Pathogenesis of human ACP -- Transcriptomic and Genomic Analyses of Human Craniopharyngioma -- Genetically Modified Mouse Models of Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma -- Clinical Diagnosis of Human ACP -- Endocrine Deficits in Patients with Human Craniopharyngioma -- Obesity and metabolic disturbances in Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma Patients -- Radiology and Radiotherapy of Craniopharyngioma -- Surgical Treatment of Human ACP -- Intracystic Administration of Interferon-Alpha for Reduction of Cystic Tumour Burden -- Long-term Management and Clinical Trials in Adamantinomatous Craniopharyngioma.

Abstract
This book offers a comprehensive approach to the wide range of movement disorders, an important specialty in the field of neurology, guiding readers from the phenomenology to diagnosis and management. Reflecting the latest developments in the field, it offers a unique summary of this dynamic area by pursuing a uniform approach to movement disorders curricula. Divided into three parts, Movement Disorders Curricula provides an authoritative overview of this growing branch of neurology. The first part presents the basic elements of movement disorders, including descriptions of the anatomy and physiology of the basal ganglia. It also features sections on clinical trials for movement disorders, practical skills, and rating scales. The second and third part examine in detail hypokinetic and hyperkinetic movement disorders, respectively. Equipping readers with the practical and research skills needed in the movement disorders field, the book offers a valuable tool to help them prepare for board examinations on general neurology, as well as for fellowships in movement disorders. .
Contents

Abstract
This handbook provides the latest research related to quality of life and sustainability, taking into account social, economic, environmental, and political/governance aspects as well as specific socio-spatial contexts. The volume includes contributions from established and upcoming scholars from various disciplines and geographical contexts (Global South and North). The varying cultural and socio-spatial contexts of the authors in the selected cases contribute to first-hand knowledge on the realities of sustainability issues affecting the quality of life. The authors apply a wide diversity of methods and tools, which facilitates a unique understanding of the interlinkages between quality of life and sustainability. The chapters are grouped in three main sections: concepts and foundations; tools, techniques, and applications; and innovations. The authors provide their own view and theoretical approximation of the dimensions of sustainability, in particular on how these dimensions play out in relation to quality of life. The combination of sustainability and quality of life concepts and perspectives is particularly important in unravelling the multi-faceted nature of human, urban, rural/spatial development.

Abstract
Huge amounts of money are spent on electronic health record (EHR) and other healthcare information technology (HIT) systems each year, and the challenge is to ensure these systems are effective on every level. Simply recreating paper-based processes on these systems does not significantly improve quality, efficiency or the financial aspects of setting up these services. While there are excellent resources available on healthcare IT and others that detail innovation strategies in healthcare, there is little material providing real life examples and explanations of how to combine these two powerful tools. Innovation with Information Technologies in Healthcare thus serves to fill this gap by using real life cases to detail how information technology systems have been used in an innovative fashion to solve the types of problems faced every day in healthcare. The Editors and their carefully selected group of contributors, ranging from multi-hospital organizations to small clinics, have assembled a book that describes successful cases covering EHR, Telemedicine and other health IT experiences, in which brilliant and innovative uses of healthcare IT have improved quality, efficiency and value. Each case chapter includes a story about the impact of these HIT innovations on patients, an explanation on the origin of the innovation, details on how the innovation evolved from idea to reality, the real world results of the innovation and lessons learned along the way. Additionally, each of these chapters conclude with thoughts on future HIT innovations from each contributor.

This casebook tackles the common psychiatric illnesses that physicians experience during these early stages of their careers. The cases carefully present guidelines for assessment and management, along with clinical pearls and resources for further reference. Written by experts in the field, the text is designed to be valuable for physicians engaged in medical education and training, and specifically for the psychiatrists who provide care for other physicians. Each chapter includes a unique case and discussion. Topics include: onset of a mood and or psychotic disorder, life transitions, trauma in care, physician suicide, anxiety, and other issues that are part of the experience of young adults developing their personal and professional identities. Early Career Physician Mental Health and Wellness is an excellent guide for all physicians interested in mental health and wellness, including psychiatrists, psychologists, training directors, hospital leadership, mentors, students, residents, and others.

Abstract
This comprehensive volume covers radiopharmaceuticals developed for pathway-directed systems in imaging and theranostic applications. We now are at the cutting edge of providing personalized treatment with increased use in oncology of these new radiopharmaceuticals. Trends in high-resolution instrumentation development, quality assurance systems and regulatory compliance for radiopharmaceuticals, clinical evaluation of radiopharmaceuticals, and benefits and pitfalls of the current clinical FDG PET are discussed. Radiopharmaceuticals are used for diagnosis of diseases of the central nervous and cardiovascular systems and for staging, restaging, and treatment planning for cancers. Nuclear biomarkers allow precise measurement of molecular pathways on a whole-body image upon administration of functional radiolabeled agents, and nuclear imaging agents have potential use in patient selection, pharmacokinetic, dosage-finding, and proof-of-concept studies. Nuclear imaging agents and hybrid instrumentation also provide sensitive and specific answers for differential responsiveness in therapeutic outcome. This book serves as a reference for moving the discovery and development of radiopharmaceuticals from the workbench to clinical applications. It thus benefits not only clinicians but also translational research scientists, molecular biologists, chemists, imaging scientists, pharmaceutical developers, physicists, and support staff.
