The Read to Me program is available to all NICU families at the IWK! All families will receive a bag which contains a selection of carefully chosen baby books.

This can result in some or all of the nerves being stretched apart or torn out of the spinal cord. Information about positional plagiocephaly and your baby's head shape. Babies are born with soft heads that are easily molded by staying in one position for too long. If a baby has a preference to look or to lie on one side, a flat spot can occur. Plagiocephaly is when a baby’s head becomes flat or misshapen on one side.
