This is a French translation of the English pamphlet 0373 “Warfarin Sodium". This pamphlet gives specific directions if you are a patient on warfarin and you are undergoing treatment for at least one of the following conditions: atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat), prosthetic (artificial) heart valve, venous thrombosis (blood clot in a deep vein) or pulmonary embolism (artery in the lung blocked by a blood clot), myocardial infarction (heart attack), or another related condition. Directions about how to take this medication, missed doses, INR blood tests, drug and food interactions, side effects, and safety precautions are provided.
