This is a French translation of the English pamphlet 0565, “User-Friendly Pulses: Preparing Dried Beans, Peas & Lentils”. Pulses are beans, dried peas, lentils, and chickpeas. They are a good source of minerals, vitamins, fibre and protein. Pulses are easy on the budget and easy to prepare. This pamphlet includes several recipes using pulses, as well as tips on reducing gas caused by eating pulses. A list of websites is provided for more information and recipes.
