Le dépliant liste aussi les symptômes qui requièrent des soins médicaux ainsi que d’autres sources d’informations.
This is a French translation of the English pamphlet 2047, “Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis: Diseases and Vaccines”. Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis are very serious diseases that can be prevented by a vaccine. When pregnant women receive the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis) vaccine, it protects their babies from pertussis (also called whooping cough). This pamphlet explains what tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis are, what the Tdap vaccine is, who should get and not get the vaccine, and possible side effects and risks of the vaccine. A list of symptoms requiring medical attention is included. A list of resources for further info is provided.
