Abstract
This book covers all aspects of aesthetic breast surgery in an instructive, step-by-step format. The descriptions of procedures are completely up to date, encompassing newly introduced techniques and recent modifications of established techniques. Individual parts of the book are devoted to breast augmentation, mastopexy, and breast reduction. Detailed consideration is also given to risks and complications, with guidance on their avoidance and the treatment of complications. In addition, anatomy, anesthesia, and a range of miscellaneous procedures applicable in specific circumstances are all well covered.áá á The authors are acknowledged experts in their fields who draw on a wealth of experience in describing and illustrating their personally favored techniques. Aesthetic Surgery of the Breast will be an ideal reference for both students (residents and fellows) and practicing cosmetic, plastic, and general surgeons.

Abstract
Breast augmentation paired with mastopexy is often regarded as a challenging procedure since it is essentially two surgeries in one. Because of the complexity of the dual procedure, as well as the careful planning required, many doctors avoid performing these surgeries together, instead preferring their patient to undergo two separate surgeries. These two procedures can be safely performed with methodical planning and intra operative execution. This book provides not only insight and instruction on a variety of mastopexy procedures and accompanying types of breast augmentation, but it will also help the clinician determine the optimal surgery for each individual patient. Primarily meant for practicing aesthetic plastic surgeons, Augmentation Mastopexy -- Mastering the Art in the Management of the Ptotic Breast will also find use among plastic surgery fellows and plastic surgery residents. Unlike some of the competitive literature that briefly touches on the topic or simply provides an overview, the information provided is methodical and comprehensive, providing a wealth of color images to accompany the techniques described. Case studies with long-term follow up are also included, offering not only an understanding of potential pitfalls but a veritable how-to for handling complications when they do arise.
Contents
1. Anatomy of the Breast -- 2. Principles of Breast Augmentation: The Process of Augmentation Mastopexy and Criteria for Staging -- 3. Principles of Mastopexy -- 4. Breast Augmentation for Early Ptosis -- 5. Preoperative Assessment in Augmentation Mastopexy -- 6. Technique in Simultaneous Augmentation Mastopexy -- 7. Two-Stage Augmentation Mastopexy -- 8. Secondary Augmentation Mastopexy -- 9. Simultaneous Short-Scar Mastopexy Augmentation -- 10. Circumareolar Mastopexy -- 11. Tuberous Breast Correction -- 12. Asymmetric Augmentation Mastopexy -- 13. Abstract
This book examines distinct innovative and modern techniques for breast reconstruction after a mastectomy necessitated by breast cancer. It serves as not only an entry point in learning about the most modern and promising surgical techniques available, but as a pragmatic guide as well. Beginning with an introduction to the history of the subject, the opening chapter offers a lesson in the evolution of the development and improvement of breast reconstruction techniques. Following this, chapters examine anatomic landmarks, including vascular anatomy, design and markings and best indications depending on the type of breast to be reconstructed. Subsequent chapters then present a multitude of surgery methods, including the progression from large open surgical procedures, to endoscopic approaches, and robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery. Finally, scaffold-based tissue engineering that offers a promising future for breast reconstruction surgeries without donor site morbidity is also reviewed. Additionally, the book’s expertly written text is supplemented by high-quality illustrations and videos that provide vital surgical guidance for improved surgical outcomes. Comprised of contributions from world-renowned plastic surgeons, Breast Reconstruction: Modern and Promising Surgical Techniques is an invaluable reference for residents, fellows, practicing and highly experienced plastic surgeons, breast surgeons, and those in surgical sub-specialties.

Abstract
Breast Surgery meets the needs of surgeons in higher training and practising consultants for a contemporary and evidence-based account of this sub-specialty that is relevant to their general surgical practice. It is a practical reference source incorporating the most current information on recent developments, management issues and operative procedures. The text is thoroughly referenced and supported by evidence-based recommendations wherever possible, distinguishing between strong evidence to support a conclusion, and evidence suggesting that a recommendation can be reached on the balance of probabilities.

Abstract
This book presents the latest and most essential techniques in Aesthetic Mastoplasty, an important field in plastic surgery that allows us to reshape breasts in harmony with the body's contours and with the patients' sense of beauty. Moreover, there have been major advances in this area in recent years, leading to improved and more tailored surgical outcomes. Breast surgeons should familiar with the most recent techniques in breast surgery, in order to provide a high standard of quality and patient-tailored surgical service. Written by a respected breast surgeon to honor the remarkable contributions of Prof. Ivo Pitanguy and featuring contributions from 39 Brazilian plastic surgeons, Breast Surgery: Aesthetic Approaches highlights the essentials and the latest advances developed by Brazilian plastic surgeons over the past 37 years. As such, it offers an invaluable practical surgical manual for all readers interested or working in breast surgery, including plastic and breast surgeons and plastic surgery residents.

Abstract
This book provides up-to-date information on all aspects of ductal carcinoma in situ of the breast, including epidemiology, imaging, pathologic and biologic features, interventional diagnostics, nonpalpable lesion localization, and treatment. Surgical procedures are described in detail, covering breast conservation techniques, conservative mastectomies, breast reconstruction options, and axillary surgery. Guidance is provided on how to ensure adequacy of surgical excision and avoid local recurrence when performing breast conservation surgery and how to minimize morbidity from axillary surgery. The role and techniques of partial and whole breast irradiation are described, and the use of adjuvant systemic therapy options, including endocrine therapy and chemotherapy, is explained. A concluding chapter addresses the issue of recurrence and its current management. This book, designed for ease of consultation, will be of value for all involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients with ductal carcinoma in situ of the breast, including surgeons, medical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and radiotherapists.

The work is all here in one place for the first time, leading to some surprising conclusions. For plastic surgeons who prefer data to dogma, Evidence-Based Cosmetic Breast Surgery provides a unique and invaluable resource.
