Abstract
This book introduces classic and unique cases in 3D TEE in structural heart disease interventions. In each all the 40 cases, background information, clinical presentations, and diagnostic findings are present and followed by step-by-step approaches of interventional therapies and outcomes after the procedures. The highlight of the book is to utilize extensive illustrations, over 500, to demonstrate various cardiovascular pathologies. Most of the figures are 3D transesophageal echocardiograms, they are cooperated with 2D transesophageal echocardiograms, X rays, fluoroscopies, computed tomograms, etc. Since the echo images obtained in clinic practice are moving images, it also includes over 300 videos, which serve as a supplement to the static illustrations in this book. The atlas is organized into five chapters. In Chapters one, cases received closure of congenital and acquired cardiac defects are described. Transcatheter aortic valve implantation and its complications are discussed in Chapter two and three. Chapter four details the valve-in-valve therapy. Chapter five covers MitraClip therapy. It offers readers an insider's view of 3D transesophageal echocardiography in structural heart disease interventions and to refresh their clinical work.
Contents

As the population with congenital heart defects increases more and more operations will be required to treat the residual defects, new defects, and replacement strategies such as valve replacements. Chapters are devoted to specific conditions and feature detailed descriptions of how to perform a variety of appropriate reparative surgical techniques involving complex anatomy, reoperative surgery, and unique techniques to this speciality, enabling the reader to develop a deep understanding of how to successfully resolve situations such as left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, anomalous pulmonary venous return, and anomalous origin of the coronary arteries. Atlas of Adult Congenital Heart Surgery provides a foundational resource for practising and trainee cardiac surgeons, nurses, and healthcare associates seeking specialist training and insight to the resolution of congenital heart diseases in adults.

Abstract
This atlas addresses the numerous changes and advances that have occurred in the field of congenital heart surgery over the last few years, resulting in improved techniques and new operations. The sheer number of new procedures and the required attendant technical skills to successfully complete an operation have become a challenge to master, especially for residents who are pursuing a career in congenital heart surgery. The atlas is organized generally by anomaly and the procedure pertaining thereto. Two general sections involve cannulation techniques and palliative procedures. A special section depicts difficult problems in the form of clinical vignettes that may arise during cardiopulmonary bypass, such as decreased venous return, undiagnosed patent ductus arteriosus, and technical errors leading to hemodynamic complications. The Atlas of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery is an educational and beautifully illustrated atlas of congenital heart surgery that explains and illustrates procedures that cover the breadth of congenital heart surgery, appealing to trainee and practicing pediatric cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and interventionalists, pediatricians, and pediatric critical care physicians alike.

Abstract
This comprehensive atlas defines the role of robotic surgery in cardiac surgical practice and provides a wealth of practical didactic advice. The Editor has assembled a group of experts in the field to define the complete operative pathway of each procedure for surgeons who desire to become a complete robotic cardiac surgeon. To reduce the learning curve, the atlas includes hints and procedure pitfalls that are derived from the experiences of the chapter contributors. The most important cardiac operations, including valve repair and replacement as well as coronary surgery, are detailed but using the latest robotic methods. Atlas of Robotic Cardiac Surgery is richly illustrated with the highest quality illustrations. Anaesthesia and cardiopulmonary support preparation for each operation is featured, and selected references have been provided to emphasize evidence-based outcomes from previously published data. As such, this book will influence and be essential reading for both practicing and trainee surgeons in minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery.

Abstract
Significant changes have taken place in the realm of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery during the last five to ten years. Many new operative procedures have been developed which remain relatively unknown to cardiothoracic surgeons. This practical manual covers a wide variety of these new processes, several of which are interventions offered to cardiologists practicing in the field of electrophysiology who are unaware that these interventions exist and can help them in situations they cannot solve. It includes general practical techniques; cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures; and advances in cardiology and electrophysiology. Throughout the book, illustrations accompany the technical descriptions and show in step-by-step detail how to perform the operations and various procedures using proper equipment. Cardiothoracic Surgical Procedures and Techniques: A Practical Manual is an essential resource for physicians and related professionals, residents, fellows, physician assistants (PA), and graduate students in cardiology, cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, and vascular surgery.

Abstract
This book utilizes case studies to illustrate a variety of percutaneous strategies to treat important cardiac pathology that would previously have mandated cardiac surgery. A desire to minimize the invasiveness of interventions and reduce patient exposure to risk have been the main drivers in developing catheter-based techniques in preference to established surgical methods. Cases in Structural Cardiac Interventions discusses how procedures will continue to increase in popularity as operator expertise grows and technology advances. It provides a useful resource for imaging and interventional cardiologists to work together in developing an inter-disciplinary team skill set that can be adapted towards specific percutaneous intervention in order to ensure optimal patient outcome. .

Abstract
This book presents unique cases of congenital heart disease (CHD) lesions, both corrected and non-corrected, and provides a thorough overview of the diagnostic tools available. It stresses the importance of taking an appropriate history and performing a suitable physical examination, and goes on to describe electrocardiography, chest X-ray, echocardiography, computed tomography, cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging, and catheterization to ensure the reader has the best possible guidance in the diagnosis and management of adult CHD. Comprehensive Approach to Adult Congenital Heart Disease offers an extensive account of patients and their diagnostic and treatment modalities from first presentation to latest follow-up. Consequently, this invaluable resource provides a forum for all cardiologists, cardiology trainees and medical professionals seeking further opportunities to immerse themselves in the fascinating and ever-evolving field of adult CHD.

Abstract
Congenital Heart Disease in Pediatric and Adult Patients: Anesthetic and Perioperative Management provides a comprehensive, up-to-date overview of care of the pediatric patient undergoing cardiac surgery and anesthesia. After introductory chapters that encompass pediatric cardiovascular embryology, physiology and pharmacology, diagnostic approaches and preoperative considerations are explained. The intraoperative management of a wide range of specific lesions is then discussed, with full descriptions of anesthesia plans added with descriptions on diagnostic methods and surgical interventions. Postoperative care is also addressed, and a concluding section considers anesthesia outside the cardiac operating room. In the twenty-first century, advances in minimally invasive technology have led to the introduction of a wide array of pediatric cardiac procedures. More traditional surgical procedures have also been transformed by new devices and surgical approaches. The cardiac anesthesiologist is faced with an ever-increasing role in the perioperative care of pediatric patients undergoing cardiologic procedures in operating rooms, as well as less conventional locations. In this book, accomplished experts from around the world in the fields of pediatric anesthesia, cardiology, and cardiac surgery describe the multiple facets of caring for this very unique patient population.
