Abstract
While most current texts on the coronary artery include only a single chapter on anomalies, this is the first of its kind to focus on the challenges involved with imaging coronary artery anomalies in infants. Since the appearance of coronary artery anomalies is dramatically different in infants with commonly associated congenital heart disease, unique techniques and careful timing are required for imaging these 1-2 mm blood vessels. Additionally, many coronary anomalies are not commonly seen because the infants don’t survive past childhood. Comprised of hundreds of anomalies in infants collected over a number of years, this atlas includes 3d color-coded images, surgical reports, angiograms, CTs and MRIs, as well as detailed instructions for performing coronary CTAs in infants. The 3d models also show the relation of coronary anomalies with congenital heart disease. Atlas of Pediatric CTA of Coronary Artery Anomalies is a timely resource for pediatric cardiologists, pediatric radiologists, fellows and residents who wish to improve their skill set when faced the dual challenges of the size of the patient and the associated complex congenital heart disease seen with the coronary anomalies. This atlas is also a valuable resource for medical students, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in pediatric cardiology and pediatric radiology.
Contents
1. Scanning Technique for Cardiac CTA in Infants and Small Children -- 2. Coronary Normal Variants -- 3. Anomalous Origins of Coronary Arteries -- 4. Congenital Heart Disease Patterns -- 5. Anomalous Course of Coronary Arteries -- 6. Coronary Artery Anomalous Origins in Patients With Congenital Heart Disease -- 7. Anomalous Termination of Coronary Arteries -- 8. Coronary Artery Abnormalities in Patients with Kawasaki Disease and Williams Syndrome.

Abstract
This book provides a comprehensive overview of the practical aspects of contrast echocardiography. It also covers all the material in the guidelines published by the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) in 2018 and the recommendations set out by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) in 2017. Contrast echocardiography at present is only used in 5-10% of cases, but this is expected to grow rapidly following the recommendations of the ASE and EACVI. The chapters cover the approved indications and provide practical advice on how to administer the contrast agents and how to optimize the recordings as well as how to deal with the pitfalls. The reader will find all the information on how to use contrast agents for assessment of shunts, LV volumes and function as well as myocardial diseases and masses. Detailed protocols are included for stress echocardiography and myocardial perfusion imaging. Other topics covered include the use of contrast agents for coronary sonography and transesophageal echocardiography. Contrast Echocardiography: Compendium for Clinical Practice comprehensively covers all aspects of the clinical use of contrast echocardiography and has been written by two cardiologists who share their experience from their high volume echo laboratories. One of the authors has been a member of both the ASE guidelines and EACVI recommendation writing groups. It is therefore, a critical text for echocardiographers and sonographers who perform echocardiography.
Contents
1. Basics of Contrast Enhanced Echocardiography -- 2. LV-Function and Myocardial Diseases/Masses -- 3. Transoesophageal Echocardiography -- 4. Sonography of Coronary Arteries -- 5. Stress Echocardiography -- 6. Multiparametric Stress Echocardiography -- 7. Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) -- 8. Training Requirements.

Abstract
This book is intended as a guide for all cardiologists who are interested in coronary imaging and physiology, a sound understanding of which is vital for the optimal performance of appropriate coronary interventions. The basics of each relevant modality are presented, with clear explanation of clinical utility and evaluation of the evidence regarding clinical outcomes. All technical methods are described in detail, and the text is complemented by numerous helpful tables and illustrations. The effectiveness of intravascular coronary imaging in improving clinical outcomes is proven, and it is widely used for this purpose. Two modalities for intravascular coronary imaging are available in clinical practice: intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). For coronary physiology, the pressure wire-derived fractional flow reserve (FFR) provides information on the functional status of coronary trees. This technique and its clinical applications receive particular attention in the book, which also looks beyond FFR to FFR-CT, a method using computational fluid dynamics, and to invasive assessment of the microcirculation.
