Abstract
Designed to provide a highly visual reference for surgeons and other members of the patient management team, Atlas of Intestinal Stomas is based on the 1967 gold standard text, Turnbull and Weakly's Atlas of Intestinal Stomas. Additions include chapters on anatomy and physiology, biliary stomas, pediatric ostomies, the continent ileostomy, urostomy, laparoscopic stoma construction, stomas in trauma surgery, stomas for antegrade continence enema, percutaneous ostomies, and quality of life. There are also sections on ileostomy, colostomy, enterostomal therapy and on the management of complications of stomas such as management of the high output ostomy, enterocutaneous fistula, parastomal hernia, prolapse, and skin conditions. The Cleveland Clinic pioneered the entire practice of ostomies, beginning in 1858 and continuing to this day as the world's leading academic and clinical center. The editors and contributors are all current or former Cleveland Clinic physicians and instructors. The fundamental focus of the book is not only how to install ostomies, but how to avoid complications and how to treat complications when they arise. Atlas of Intestinal Stomas will be of great value to colorectal and general surgeons, both in practice and in training.

Abstract
The first edition of this book was judged by many to be the best available atlas of upper gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery. The second edition builds upon this success by covering all of the significant intervening developments, including both new procedures and adaptations of established techniques. The atlas opens with an introductory section on the basic principles of operative surgery. All of the important techniques employed in upper gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery are then presented in a series of sections devoted to the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, the liver, the biliary system, portal hypertension, the pancreas, and the spleen. General, oncologic, and transplantation surgical procedures are described step by step with the aid of more than 900 superb illustrations drawn by a team of artists with extensive experience. A further feature, much appreciated by readers of the first edition, is the inclusion of the authors' personal surgical tricks. The contributors have been carefully selected from across the globe; they have extensive experience in the procedures they describe and most are established educators.
Contents
SECTION 1: General Principles: Positioning and Accesses -- Retractors, Principles of Exposure -- Surgical Staplers -- Principles of Drainage -- New Devices for Cutting and Sealing Tissues -- SECTION 2: Esophagus, Stomach and Duodenum: Sleeve Gastrectomy -- Diaphragmatic Trauma and Reconstruction of the Diaphragm -- SECTION 3: Liver: Anterior Approach for Big Liver Tumours -- Microwave Ablation -- Radiofrequency Ablation -- Kidney Harvesting -- Multi Organ Procurement -- Laparoscopic Liver Surgery -- SECTION 4: Biliary Tract and Gallbladder: Single Port Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy -- Resection of Gallbladder -- Cancer, Including Surgical Staging -- Bile Duct Resection Into Left- And Right Side -- Hepatectomy with Bile Duct Resection -- Combined Vascular Resection and Reconstruction -- Reconstruction of Bile Duct Injuries: Access to Intrahepatic Ducts Provided by Transhepatic, Parenchyma-Splitting Approach -- SECTION 5: Portal Hypertension -- SECTION 6: Pancreas -- Total Pancreatectomy -- Pancreatic Trauma and Therapy -- Laparoscopic Pancreatic Surgery -- SECTION 7: Spleen.

Abstract
Colorectal Surgery meets the needs of surgeons in higher training and practising consultants for a contemporary and evidence-based account of this sub-specialty that is relevant to their general surgical practice. It is a practical reference source incorporating the most current information on recent developments, management issues and operative procedures. The text is thoroughly referenced and supported by evidence-based recommendations wherever possible, distinguishing between strong evidence to support a conclusion, and evidence suggesting that a recommendation can be reached on the balance of probabilities. For this Sixth Edition the authorship team across the series has been expanded to include additional European and World experts, with an increased emphasis on global practice. Throughout all six volumes the contents have been extensively revised in line with recently published evidence. Detailed supportive key references are provided and are also included within the comprehensive list of references in the accompanying ebook. Links to recommended online videos have been added where appropriate.

Abstract
This text provides a comprehensive, sate of the art review of complications related to anorectal surgical procedures old and new. As anorectal surgery has evolved throughout the decades, newer and at times unexpected complications arise as of necessity. Any surgeon not familiar with these, may be perplexed as to how to manage these specific complications and more importantly how to avoid such complications in the course of their future practice. Complications of Anorectal Surgery: Prevention and Management provides a very helpful resource for all surgeons performing anorectal surgery and will be particularly useful for general surgeons practicing in rural or small urban settings where access to a colon and rectal specialist, a large medical center or a resource medical library may be scarce or limited.
Contents
Surgery for Anorectal Abscess -- Fistulotomy -- Anorectal Fistula Surgery -- Hemorrhoids -- Anal Fissure -- Pilonidal Cyst -- Hidradenitis Suppurativa -- Perineal Repair of Rectal Prolapse -- Rectocele Repair (ODS) -- Complications of Rectovaginal Fistula Repair -- Incontinence -- Transanal Excision of Rectal Tumor (TEM or TAMIS) -- Anal Stenosis -- Retrorectal Cyst -- York Mason Procedure -- Pull-Through Procedures -- Perineal Wound Post APR.

Abstract
While surgical management of thoracic, hepato-pancreato-biliary, and colorectal diseases continues to evolve, morbidity continues to be a persistent problem. This book provides a comprehensive, state-of-the art, definitive reference for the diagnosis and management of difficult-to-manage complications following advanced gastrointestinal surgery. All chapters are written by experts in their field and include the most up-to-date clinical information from national and world leaders in their respective disciplines. The text provides a practical, clinically useful guide that reviews risk factors for these complications and offers key information on how to avoid potentially high morbidity events in the peri-operative period. It also discusses the management of these problems when they do occur. With its helpful guidelines and "tricks of the trade" to avoid potential complications, this book is essential to all medical professions treating such patients. Gastrointestinal Surgery: Management of Complex Perioperative Complications is of great value and utility for general surgeons, thoracic surgeons, upper gastrointestinal surgeons, colorectal surgeons, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeons, surgical oncology fellows, thoracic surgery fellows and upper level residents in general surgery.

Abstract
This comprehensive, illustrated guide presents representative general surgery, including gastrointestinal tract, hepatobiliary and inguinal hernia. Surgery is generally based on the microanatomy; however, in practice surgery involves more dynamic and floating anatomy. In the last decade, the methods have been constantly improved, shedding new light on classical anatomical science. Laparoscopic is one such methodology. All illustrations presented in this book have been drawn by the author – a pioneering surgeon – and show real-world procedures. All the methods introduced are practical and have been refined based on the precise clinical and embryological anatomy. This unique book offers readers essential insights into efficient and high-integrity surgeries in abdominal region. As such, it is a valuable resource for all gastrointestinal surgeons.
