Abstract
This book, published in cooperation with ESSKA, is an exceptionally comprehensive guide to arthroscopy that covers all major joints and all potential arthroscopic procedures. Sections on the knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, wrist, and ankle provide in-depth descriptions of each procedure, including indications, technique, complications, and results, as well as essential information on diagnostic work-up and classification systems/rating scales. The text is supported by a wealth of color illustrations, and clear treatment algorithms are included for most sports injuries. An introductory section describes the history of arthroscopy, explains general principles, and provides information on instrumentation, electronic equipment, anesthesia, pain control, and prevention of complications. A special chapter focuses on the operative report, with description of an electronic form that can be used by every surgeon to store operative records or participate in European multicenter ESSKA studies. The authors include the most renowned arthroscopic surgeons in Europe. Arthroscopy will be an invaluable textbook and reference for orthopaedic surgeons, general orthopaedic physicians, sports traumatologists, residents, and physical therapists.

Abstract
This book provides up-to-date guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of the most important complex fractures of the limbs, including fractures of the proximal and distal humerus, fractures and dislocations of the elbow, fractures of the distal radius, pelvis, acetabulum, distal femur, proximal tibia, tibial pilon, calcaneus and osteoporotic knee fractures. The most complex articular fractures are analyzed, soft tissue coverage is reviewed, and the management of open fractures and nonunions is described and illustrated. Other chapters consider damage control management and immediate bone fixation in the polytrauma patient, skeletal reconstruction and rehabilitation of complex fractures of the limbs. The book offers guidance to orthopaedic surgeons on which treatment options afford the best preservation of fully functional joints around the fractured bone. With this goal in mind, the authors have developed strategies that can restore full articular function of the limbs in both the short and the long term. Complex Fractures of the Limbs will be an invaluable aid to orthopaedic surgeons in treating patients with this very common and important clinical problem.

Abstract
This book is designed as an easy to read reference and practical guide to the management of combat extremity injuries, which account for a high percentage of the injuries sustained in recent and current conflicts. The surgical techniques appropriate to the full range of extremity injuries and some other frequent injuries, such as trauma to the spine and pelvis, are clearly described with the aid of helpful illustrations. In each chapter a bottom line up front approach is adopted, providing key messages first; a further important feature is the emphasis placed on case-based information and lessons learned from practice. Care has been taken to ensure that the advice provided is straightforward and in line with military clinical practice guidelines.
