Abstract
Written by three experienced consultants with a large skin cancer practice and international reputations for excellence, this book provides comprehensive practical solutions to defects in the head and neck region that are confronted by the clinician in day-to-day practice. Essential information is first provided on anesthesia, defect assessment, and individual flaps, while the core chapters focus on the reconstruction of specific defects at specific sites. The defects and reconstructive solutions are depicted by means of sequential, clinically relevant line drawings that are complemented by clear supporting text highlighting the intricacies and nuances of the procedure and the decision-making process. Helpful algorithms at the end of each chapter summarize the solutions. This book will be ideal for use in daily practice by clinicians and trainees and will assist in achieving excellent cosmetic outcomes in this aesthetically sensitive part of the body.

Abstract
This book is divided into 3 main sections: cysts and odontogenic tumors (lesions related to the dentition); fibro-osseous lesions and giant cell lesions, which are unique to the maxillofacial skeleton; and bone lesions, which also occur in other parts of the body. Individual diseases are described with a special emphasis on histomorphological aspects. Some lesions may pose considerable diagnostic problems due to shared microscopical features and the authors' aim is to provide reliable diagnostic guidelines for the surgical pathologist who has to deal with specimens from this area. The majority of the currently available textbooks on head and neck pathology are mainly devoted to soft tissue lesions, paying less attention to the pathology of the diseases that involve the hard tissues. Texts on general skeletal pathology cannot address this gap, as the maxillofacial skeleton differs from the bones elsewhere in the body in several respects. Therefore, the book discusses both bone disorders that are restricted to the head and neck, and diseases that also occur in the extragnathic skeleton.
Contents

Abstract
This book provides a concise yet comprehensive source of information on the classification, evaluation, diagnosis, and management of vascular lesions of the orbit and face. It highlights recent technological innovations and new treatments that have significantly improved the ability to accurately evaluate and successfully treat these lesions with reduced complications. Some of these advances include new imaging modalities, intravascular and intralesional treatment approaches, photodynamic therapy, and additional medical therapies. Many of these advances have led to paradigm shifts in the understanding and management of vascular lesions of the orbit and face. This book, written by experts in the fields of ophthalmology, dermatology, diagnostic and interventional radiology, and oculoplastic surgery, features structured, in-depth chapters that can also be quickly consulted as a reference guide. It is an excellent resource for those in training as well as seasoned practitioners wishing to acquaint themselves with the newest diagnostic and treatment techniques for orbital vascular lesions.
