Abstract
Adolescent Identity Treatment: An Integrative Approach for Personality Pathology is a groundbreaking title that provides general and specific clinical strategies to help adolescents who lack an integrated identity. The authors have developed a treatment based on the integration of object relations theory, family systems, attachment, developmental neurobiology and cognitive behavioral approaches that focuses on clearing blockages to normal identity development and adaptive functioning. While most adolescents build satisfying interpersonal relationships, are successful in school and work, and begin romantic relationships, there is a minority of adolescents who do not succeed in this and are at a high risk of developing problems in school, work, and relationships, problems with affect regulation as well as engaging in a wide range of self-destructive behaviors. In addition to a description of the disorder and assessment, this manual offers extensive clinical examples and concrete interventions, with phase-specific treatment components, including a clear treatment frame, psychoeducation, environmental interventions (with a "Home Plan" that addresses self-care behaviors, responsibilities and improved boundaries that fosters the development of better relationships between the adolescent and family), and parenting strategies, all in the service of creating a space for the individual work with the adolescent.

Abstract
Clinicians--physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and others--share the unique responsibility of patient care and the limitless fulfillment this calling can provide. The healing professions have an ancient and venerable tradition of service, honor, and humanism that is often communicated from teacher to student in anecdotes and bits of wisdom told quickly in passing. Gathering together this type of valuable information in one place, Advice to the Healer: On the Art of Caring, Second Edition, includes biographies of historical luminaries in medicine, tales from everyday practice, inspirational quotes and artwork, and advice for new and veteran healers alike. "Today, when medical education short-changes basic clinical skills in favor of technology, when many young clinicians seem to view medicine as a trade instead of a calling, and when we see practicing physicians hawking their services on roadside billboards, it is refreshing to read a book that extols medicine's rich history and traditional values." --Robert B. Taylor, MD, Professor Emeritus of Family Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University.

Abstract
The role of Bioactive Dietary Factors and Plant Extracts in Preventive Dermatology provides current and concise scientific appraisal of the efficacy of foods, nutrients, herbs, and dietary supplements in preventing dermal damage and cancer as well as improving skin health. This important new volume reviews and presents new hypotheses and conclusions on the effects of different bioactive foods and their components derived particularly from vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Primary emphasis is on treatment and prevention of dermal damage focusing on skin cancers with significant health care costs and mortality. Bioactive Dietary Factors and Plant Extracts in Preventive Dermatology brings together expert clinicians and researchers working on the different aspects of supplementation, foods, and plant extracts and nutrition and skin health. Their expertise provides the most current knowledge in the field and will serve as the foundation for advancing future research.

Abstract
Bisphosphonates are commonly prescribed to inhibit bone loss in patients with osteoporosis, as well as osteopenia, cancer, and Paget's disease of the bone. Recently, scientific literature has addressed a possible relationship between bisphosphonates and osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ). It is important to note that though the risks for developing ONJ are much higher for cancer patients on intravenous bisphosphonate therapy (used to reduce bone pain), the occurrence of ONJ also in patients treated with oral BF for osteoporosis has been also highlighted, though rarely. On the basis of the large use of BF, of their pharmacokinetics, of the systemic and local risk factors, physicians prescribing them and dental surgeons should be well informed on the various aspects of the problem. Aim of this volume is to offer an update on the current status of prevention, and on the current conservative and surgical treatments. The multidisciplinary approach will be very much appreciated by GP's, the different specialists using bisphosphonates and by dental surgeons.
