Abstract
This book presents the latest and most essential techniques in Aesthetic Mastoplasty, an important field in plastic surgery that allows us to reshape breasts in harmony with the body's contours and with the patients' sense of beauty. Moreover, there have been major advances in this area in recent years, leading to improved and more tailored surgical outcomes. Breast surgeons should familiar with the most recent techniques in breast surgery, in order to provide a high standard of quality and patient-tailored surgical service. Written by a respected breast surgeon to honor the remarkable contributions of Prof. Ivo Pitanguy and featuring contributions from 39 Brazilian plastic surgeons, Breast Surgery: Aesthetic Approaches highlights the essentials and the latest advances developed by Brazilian plastic surgeons over the past 37 years. As such, it offers an invaluable practical surgical manual for all readers interested or working in breast surgery, including plastic and breast surgeons and plastic surgery residents.

Abstract
This text is designed to present a comprehensive and state-of the-art approach to the management of breast cancer within the fields of surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology. Sections address changes in these fields. These areas include breast imaging, management of the axilla, atypical breast lesions, surgical margins, new techniques in breast reconstruction, and nipple sparing and contralateral mastectomies. Subsequent chapters focus on issues in medical oncology including, triple negative breast cancer and metastatic breast disease. New paradigms in radiation oncology are examined. Breast cancer treatment in the elderly and in young women, and genetic risk in breast cancer management is also be discussed. Written by experts in their field, each of these sections addresses advances and changes in the field. A brief review of the existing literature addressing the particular topic follows in each section. The text concludes with chapters on pathological issues and advances in radiation oncology. As access to a comprehensive multidisciplinary resource such as this is currently limited in the literature, Changing Paradigms in the Management of Breast Cancer represents the first single source to provide information on advances and outcomes for the physician caring for breast cancer patients in a multidisciplinary setting.

Abstract
This book describes in detail three different techniques for minimally invasive video-assisted breast surgery: nipple-sparing mastectomy with a hand-held external retractor, with a single-port device, and with robotic assistance. All three techniques can be employed for radical treatment of breast cancer or for risk reduction surgery, and the last two are brand new. The techniques are clearly explained with the aid of numerous high-quality illustrations. All surgical stages are covered in detail, and helpful information is provided on key aspects of surgical anatomy, diagnostic workup, instrumentation, and postoperative management. Nipple Sparing Mastectomy is the first manual to cover these techniques, which are likely to become standard in the field of oncological breast surgery. It will be invaluable for breast surgeons who are skilled in nipple-sparing mastectomy and oncoplastic techniques or are working in breast units that offer genetic counseling to high-risk patients.
Contents
1. History of the Mini Invasive Video Assisted Breast Surgery: From East to West -- 2. Surgical Anatomy of the Breast: Key Points for Mini Invasive Video Assisted Approach -- 3. Mini-Invasive Video-Assisted Breast Surgery: Feasibility and Safety -- 4. Indication for Mini Invasive Video Assisted Mastectomy -- 5. Diagnostic Work Out -- 6. Operative Instruments -- 7. Mini-Invasive Video-Assisted Mastectomy: Techniques -- 8. Reconstructive Options -- 9. Case Reports.

Abstract
This book presents the most recent developments in oncologic breast surgery and takes full account of diagnostic, pathologic, and radiologic inputs. It is divided into three parts, the first of which discusses the premises underlying the modern surgical approach to breast cancer. The second part is devoted to what might be termed the conservative program, i.e., breast conservation and oncoplastic surgery, conservative mastectomy, and sentinel node biopsy and axillary dissection. The final part of the book covers different forms of surgery and other treatments in particular settings. Topics include plastic and reconstructive surgery, DCIS surgery, radio-guided surgery, adjuvant systemic therapy, intraoperative radiotherapy, and the role of surgery in locally advanced and metastatic disease. The detailed descriptions of techniques are accompanied by numerous high-quality illustrations. This book will be of value to both experienced practitioners and surgical trainees.

Abstract
This book covers an up-to-date review of advances in the management strategies for patients with breast cancer and their co-morbidities. Oncoplasty has become the standard of care for breast conservation surgery and can lead to improving aesthetic outcomes of breast cancer surgery, without compromising oncological outcomes. The goal of the text is to increase the competencies and performance of healthcare professionals involved in treating this patient population, which will ultimately improve the aesthetic outcomes, quality of life and overall survival of patients with breast disease and breast cancer. Written by experts in the field, chapters address a wide range of breast surgery techniques that help the general surgeon provide improved oncologic and aesthetic results for patients. The authors have detailed not only best practice for conventional procedures but also new and evolving techniques. Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Techniques for the General Surgeon serves as a valuable resource not only for medical students but also for the general surgeon seeking to improve results in private practice and for professors learning and teaching new breast surgery techniques.
