Abstract
This text addresses vascular anomalies and the management of these diverse and clinically challenging set of conditions which have significant impact on patient function, quality of life and, in certain cases, survival. The text covers each category and type of vascular anomaly and the unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges they pose. The chapters will also include fundamental scientific literature pertaining to each specific condition to help clinicians and clinical researchers better assess and manage vascular anomalies of the head and neck. Each vascular condition will be supported with medical photographs and radiographic images, summaries of diagnostic and therapeutic options, a list of syndromes and genetic mutations known to be associated with each anomaly, case studies, and clinical and research pearls from national and international leaders in the field. Management of Head and Neck Vascular Anomalies: Evidenced-based Assessment will be an invaluable resource for otolaryngologists, plastic surgeons, general and general pediatric surgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, dermatologists, interventional radiologists, residents and fellows in these fields, and researchers with interest in vascular anomalies of the head and neck.

This book provides a comprehensive description of the pathology of the head and neck region, concentrating especially on those pathologic entities that are unique to or characteristic of the head and neck. The new edition retains the ten chapters of the first edition, all updated and improved, and additionally contains seven entirely new chapters and a more detailed subject index. The number of illustrations has been substantially increased, and various lesions absent in the original edition have been included. Throughout, attention is paid to correlation of pathology with epidemiology, clinical features, pathogenesis, and molecular genetics. Differential diagnosis is addressed, and information is also provided on staging, prognosis, and therapy. The authors include foremost experts in the field, some of whom are senior members of the Working Group on Head and Neck Pathology of the European Society of Pathology.

Abstract
Practical Head and Neck Pathology: Frequently Asked Questions centers around frequently asked questions, but it is not meant to be comprehensive in its approach. Instead, it aims to touch on all major or commonly encountered entities. Each chapter begins with a list of questions typically ordered from basic histologic knowledge, to inflammatory processes, primary tumors, and secondary tumor types. Strategies for the diagnosis of salivary gland, metastatic head and neck cancers and thyroid disease using ancillary testing is highlighted. Small biopsy dilemmas in undifferentiated tumors of the sinonasal and nasopharyngeal tracts are undertaken with emphasis on differential diagnosis and ancillary techniques. The tables are the foundation of the book, offering a quick reference guide for salient features of various entities and differential diagnoses. A comprehensive set of references after each question can be used to supplement the information provided and give the reader a foundation for further learning. This book answers some of the difficult, prevailing and emerging questions in head and neck pathology that arise in everyday practice. While such challenges may not always be frequent, they have tremendous impact on clinical practice. Clinically pertinent, molecular advances in treatment and diagnosis for the practicing and junior pathologist are covered.
