Abstract
This eagerly awaited book offers a unique, comprehensive scientific study of the anatomy of the organ of female sexual pleasure. The authors use macroscopic and microscopic research to guide the reader from the glans, the visible part of the clitoris, where they explore the impressive sensory corpuscles, to the hidden roots of the bulbo-clitoral organ. They show its complexity, its exact location within the external genitalia and its intimate relationship with the urethro-vaginal pyramid. They also remind us that throughout history there has been a failure to understand this organ, and explain that this misunderstanding remains the cause of persistent excisions, criminal mutilating practices that have not yet been eradicated. Using extensive iconography, they demonstrate throughout this book that the bulbo-clitoral organ is an exceptional natural treasure that every woman possesses and that every man should know well.
Contents
History of the Clitoris -- Formation of the Clitoris -- Terminology and Related Difficulties -- External Morphology of the Clitoris -- Structure of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- Microscopic Study of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- Physiology of Cavernous and Spongy Tissues -- Innervation of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- Sensory Corpuscles -- The Vessels of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- Muscles of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- The Suspensory Ligament of the Clitoris -- Relationships of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- Imagery of the Bulbo-clitoral Organ -- The Bulbo-clitoral Organ in the Sexual Act -- Mutilations of the Clitoris -- The Clitoris in Art.

Abstract
In the western world, the risk of cardiovascular disease in pregnancy has grown due to the increasing age at the first pregnancy and the worldwide obesity epidemic leading to early diabetes and hypertension. As a result more women are requiring drug therapy during pregnancy and some data has shown an altered pharmacodynamic profile in pregnant women when compared to the non-pregnant population. Cardiac Drugs in Pregnancy presents up-to-date research for the treatment of cardiovascular disease during pregnancy, and discusses the most important indications of drug usage in pregnancy and postpartum. The book aims to assess the potential risk of drugs and their possible benefit against each other, making it an essential read for a wide range of health professionals involved in cardiac drug therapy in pregnancy.
Contents
General principles and guidelines -- Management of hypertension -- Management of heart failure pre- and postpartum -- Management of coronary artery disease and arrhythmias -- Anticoagulation in pregnancy -- Obstetric drugs in the management of cardiovascular disease.

Abstract
This book provides clear guidance on the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of positional plagiocephaly. Information is first presented on classification, epidemiology, and etiopathogenesis. Diagnosis is then explained in detail, covering the significance of anamnestic data, physical examination, differential diagnosis, instrumental examinations, and anthropometric measurements. Preventive measures such as 'tummy time' and physiotherapy are described, and the role of orthoses, osteopathy, and surgery in treatment is closely examined. The closing chapter addresses prognosis and complications. Positional plagiocephaly is not only a "cosmetic" problem but can cause facial and mandibular asymmetry, visual disturbances, and cognitive and psychomotor impairment, yet when correctly treated it usually resolves by 6-7 years of age.
Contents
1. Historical notes -- 2. Definition and classification -- 3. Epidemiology -- 4. Etiology and pathogenesis -- 5 Clinical approach to plagiocephaly -- 6. Prevention and management -- 7. Osteopathic considerations in positional plagiocephaly -- 8. Surgical indications and treatment for cranial occipital anomalies -- 9. Outcomes.
