This is a French translation of the English pamphlet 1448, "Patients First: Disclosure of Patient Safety Incidents". People expect safe health care. Health care providers work hard every day to give safe, excellent care. Despite this, the unexpected can happen. For example, a patient may fall or be given the wrong dose of medicine. These unexpected events are called patient safety incidents. This pamphlet explains the following topics: what disclosure is, how it will help you, how it takes place, who will speak with you, your rights and where you can find more information.

Abstract
This book provides practical guidance regarding the safe manufacture and implementation of health information technology (IT), consolidating what has been learnt in the industry over the last 10-15 years. Healthcare professionals are increasingly reliant on IT to deliver care and inform their clinical decision making. Health IT provides enormous benefits in efficiency, communication and decision making. However a number of high-profile UK and US studies have concluded that when health IT is poorly designed or sub-optimally implemented, patient safety can be compromised. As a result, manufacturers and healthcare organizations are increasingly required to demonstrate that their health IT solutions are proactively assured. Health Information Systems: Managing Clinical Risk provides essential supporting material to professionals involved in creating or implementing health IT and is the perfect companion for programme managers, clinicians, designers, risk managers, and IT staff.

Abstract
This book is a comprehensive source of information and guidance on health risk management and medical care across the entire range of sports, in athletes of all ages and ability. General health aspects, injury prevention, first aid and emergency management, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and return to play are all addressed, with presentation of practical recommendations throughout. All medical disciplines with relevance for athletes - from psychological aspects to dermatological issues - are as well as main pathologies, overuse injuries and indications for surgical treatment of all certain parts of the musculoskeletal system, covered. Key features include a clear structure, short chapters in protocol format, and the inclusion of helpful checklists and tips and tricks for a quick and in-depth overview. Detailed attention is paid both to the medical care, specific to injuries of different parts of the body, and to special considerations relating to individual sports. Among the sport disciplines team sports, athletics, winter sports, track and field, martial arts, motor sports and cycling, extreme sports, swimming and water sports, racket sports, other IOC sports, and Paralympic sports are covered. Due to raising population of certain modern non-IOC sports, e.g. E-Sports, beach sports, flying sports and canyoning, and paltry medical information in this disciplines we put a focus on them. The book is a collaborative work from the newly created ESSKA section European Sports Medicine Associates (ESMA), which brings together the various disciplines of sports medicine. It will be an ideal resource and decision-making tool for doctors, athletes, coaches, and physiotherapists.

Abstract
This straightforward volume makes a strong, practical, research-based case for integrating prevention programs into middle and high schools. Written by experts in prevention science and education, it examines educational goals and prevention of risky behaviors as parallel and complementary processes and provides evidence for health-promoting schools as a critical forum for student development. Chapters show the benefits of this collaboration, as instructors engage with prevention content, prevention scientists study schools and create interventions, and counselors develop and implement activities, resulting in improved academic, social, and health outcomes. Examples of successful prevention strategies address personal and public health issues as varied as substance abuse, dating violence, dropping out, and suicide. Among the topics covered: Engaging school leaders in prevention; Developing school-based prevention curricula; Scaling up evidence-based prevention interventions and practices; Conducting prevention research and evaluation in schools; Promoting a positive school climate and culture; Reducing disruptive behavior, violence, and bullying. Child and school psychologists, administrators, teachers, school counselors, and prevention specialists will find significant common ground in Prevention Science in School Settings. The breadth and depth of coverage point to new, multidisciplinary directions in health education, school climate/culture, and positive youth development.

Abstract
This book examines risk in assisted conception, covering a wide range of topics and areas. The authors discuss the "Risk" specifically for situations where patients or professionals are at risk of an adverse outcome in relation to fertility treatment. Reducing Risk in Fertility Treatment encompasses clinical complications, risks inherent in laboratory practice, reputational and business risks to clinics, and ethical risks to society as a whole. Reducing Risk in Fertility Treatment is an essential resource for all clinical staff to consult in reducing the risk associated with their work. It provides practical resources such as "how to" guides, but also touches on theoretical discussions. It is primarily directed to practitioners in the area of fertility treatment, clinicians, embryologists, nurses, counsellors and administrators, but is also relevant to policy-makers, commissioners of health services, researchers in this field and biomedical ethicists.
Contents
1. The Challenges of Multiple Pregnancies -- 2. Prognosis of Risks for Offspring of Fertility Treatment -- 3. Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome -- 4. Thromboembolism Associated with Fertility Treatment -- 5. Emotional and Psychosocial Risk Associated with Fertility Treatment -- 6. Regulatory and Legal Risks for Patients.
