Formerly titled "Your Early Pregnancy Loss". An early pregnancy loss can be a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or a molar pregnancy. When you have an early pregnancy loss there may be many feelings that you are working through, and you may have many questions. This brochure is meant to help you with some of those questions, and also provide resources for you.
A stillbirth is when a baby dies after the 20th week of pregnancy, during pregnancy, labour, or birth. There is no way to predict that this will happen. In Nova Scotia, there are about 6 stillbirths each month. You are not alone. This pamphlet answers some common questions you may have and suggests ways to help you cope with your loss.
