Abstract
This book introduces an exciting new method for breast ultrasound diagnostics: automated whole-breast volume scanning (3D ABVS). Scanning technique is described in detail, with guidance on scanning positions and protocols. Imaging findings are then illustrated and discussed for normal breast variants, the different forms of breast cancer, fibroadenomas, cystic disease, benign and malignant male breast disorders, mastitis, breast implants, and postoperative breast scars. In order to aid appreciation of the benefits of 3D ABVS, comparisons with findings on X-ray mammography and conventional 2D hand-held US are presented. Readers will be especially impressed by the convincing demonstration of the advantages of the new method for diagnosis of breast cancer in women with dense glandular tissue. In enabling readers to learn how to perform and interpret 3D ABVS, this book will be of great value for all who are embarking on its use. It will also serve as a welcome reference for radiologists, oncologists, and ultrasonographers who already have some familiarity with the technique.
Contents
1. The History of ABVS -- 2. Current Status of ABVS -- 3. 3D ABVS Technique on ACUSON S2000 ABVS -- 4. Clinical Application of ABVS for Breast Studies -- 5. Limitations of ABVS Technique -- 6. Conclusion.

Abstract
This book is designed to provide the reader with a full understanding of the role of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in helping to solve many of the most challenging problems in endodontics. It will shorten the learning curve in application of this exciting imaging technique in a variety of contexts: difficult diagnostic cases, treatment planning, evaluation of internal tooth anatomy prior to root canal therapy, nonsurgical and surgical treatments, early detection and treatment of resorptive defects, and outcomes assessment. The ability to obtain an accurate 3D representation of a tooth and the surrounding structures by means of noninvasive CBCT imaging is changing the approach to clinical decision making in endodontics. Clinicians long accustomed to working in very small, three-dimensional spaces are no longer constrained by the limitations of two-dimensional imaging. The challenges of mastering the new technology can, however, be daunting. The detailed guidance contained in this book will help endodontists to take full advantage of the important benefits offered by CBCT.
Contents
Principles of Cone Beam Computed Tomography -- Utilization of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in Endodontic Diagnosis -- The Impact of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in Non-surgical and Surgical Treatment Planning -- Three dimensional evaluation of internal tooth anatomy -- Non-surgical treatment utilizing Cone Beam Computed Tomography -- Surgical Treatment Utilizing Cone Beam Computed Tomography -- The Use of Cone Beam Computed Tomography in the Diagnosis and Management of Root Resorption.

Abstract
This book provides up-to-date guidance on the use of FDG PET to assess the biological activity and treatment response of a wide range of malignancies, including, for example, lung cancer, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and malignant lymphoma. In the era of precision medicine, numerous new anticancer agents, such as molecular targeted agents and immune checkpoint inhibitors, have been developed to improve outcomes in cancer patients. FDG PET plays a key role in evaluating the effects of these novel treatments because it can detect changes in the metabolic activity of tumors before any reduction in their size is visible on other imaging modalities. Accordingly, FDG PET is of prognostic as well as diagnostic value, and allows prompt changes in patient management. The book is written by expert clinicians from Japan, where the universal public health insurance system ensures that FDG PET is widely used in routine oncological practice and cancer screening. It represents an unrivaled and comprehensive resource that will be of value for all healthcare professionals in the field of clinical oncology.

Abstract
The second edition of this atlas presents a wealth of normal and pathologic findings observed on CT angiography with 3D reconstruction in diverse clinical applications, including the imaging of cerebral, carotid, thoracic, coronary, abdominal, and peripheral vessels. The superb illustrations display the excellent anatomic detail obtained with CT angiography and depict the precise location of affected structures and lesion severity. Careful comparisons between normal imaging features and pathologic appearances will assist the reader in image interpretation and treatment planning, and the described cases include some very rare pathologies. In addition, the technical principles of the modality are clearly explained and guidance provided on imaging protocols. This edition is the outcome of 18 years of work by a renowned radiological team whose research focuses specifically on vascular pathology of the whole body and the role of CT angiography in its assessment. Numerous new images are presented and three additional chapters address cerebral arteriovenous malformations, congenital cardiac malformations in children and CT venography. The atlas will be invaluable for radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and medical students.

Abstract
This atlas is designed as an easy-to-use reference guide that identifies and illustrates the key patterns of diffuse lung diseases observed on high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) and then documents in more detail the characteristics and appearances of the individual diseases, grouped on the basis of their prevalent pattern. A further feature of the book is its interdisciplinary nature: contributions from experts in various specialties are tightly interwoven throughout and many pathologic correlations are included. Less experienced readers will find that this atlas, with its wealth of figures and helpful color coding, steers them towards correct interpretation when confronted by the multiplicity and complexity of these diseases; those who are already experts, on the other hand, will benefit from the detailed coverage of individual diseases, which will deepen their understanding. At the end of the book, a graphically appealing and practice-oriented illustrated glossary with tips and tricks offers a further highly effective educational tool. Given the clinical spectrum of diseases covered, this atlas will prove invaluable for a wide range of healthcare workers, especially radiologists, pulmonologists, and pathologists.

Abstract
Atlas of Pediatric Cardiac CTA is a concise visual guide to the imaging of congenital heart disease in infants and children. The book focuses on the utilization of cardiac CTA imaging for pediatric patients as distinct from adult patients, with an emphasis on techniques for retrospective and prospective scanning, reduction of the radiation dose, and CT data processing and analysis. It also describes cardiac CTA evaluation search patterns to assess the complex anatomy in congenital heart patients. As pediatric patients often present with multiple findings, separate chapters are devoted to the major structures of the cardiovascular system, accompanied with extensive imaging examples of the atria, ventricles, great vessels, coronary arteries, lungs and airways, and the situs. The book concludes with a review of shunts, procedures, and surgeries used in the management of these congenital disorders. Atlas of Pediatric Cardiac CTA is a valuable resource for radiologists, cardiologists, and other clinicians or physicians in training involved in the care of pediatric patients with congenital heart disease.

Abstract
While most current texts on the coronary artery include only a single chapter on anomalies, this is the first of its kind to focus on the challenges involved with imaging coronary artery anomalies in infants. Since the appearance of coronary artery anomalies is dramatically different in infants with commonly associated congenital heart disease, unique techniques and careful timing are required for imaging these 1-2 mm blood vessels. Additionally, many coronary anomalies are not commonly seen because the infants don’t survive past childhood. Comprised of hundreds of anomalies in infants collected over a number of years, this atlas includes 3d color-coded images, surgical reports, angiograms, CTs and MRIs, as well as detailed instructions for performing coronary CTAs in infants. The 3d models also show the relation of coronary anomalies with congenital heart disease. Atlas of Pediatric CTA of Coronary Artery Anomalies is a timely resource for pediatric cardiologists, pediatric radiologists, fellows and residents who wish to improve their skill set when faced the dual challenges of the size of the patient and the associated complex congenital heart disease seen with the coronary anomalies. This atlas is also a valuable resource for medical students, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in pediatric cardiology and pediatric radiology.

Abstract
This new atlas, the fourth of a successful series, is a completely revised and updated edition of a previously published FDG PET-CT atlas. In the past few years, considerable progress has been made in the field of PET-CT imaging, and this new edition takes full account of these recent developments. Furthermore, its educational mission has been broadened: beyond serving as a straightforward guide to FDG PET-CT imaging it now encompasses the integrative use of contrast-enhanced CT and MRI. The new edition also includes non-oncological indications for FDG PET-CT. The atlas aims to help imaging practitioners to recognize physiological and benign pathological FDG uptake and illustrates in a case-based, practical manner the PET-CT appearances of all the major tumors and infectious, inflammatory, and neurodegenerative disorders. The main clinical applications are covered, and learning points and pitfalls are clearly articulated. The consistent, user-friendly format facilitates image interpretation and allows rapid review of key information needed for FDG PET-CT imaging.
